MPSツールやプリントマネジメントツールの統合プロバイダーである、COSY Inc. （神戸市）が世界中のMPSサービスプロバイダーが活用しているAsset DBソフトウエアの日本での販売において、提携。
手書き、図面など、顧客企業のフロアレイアウトを読み込み、ドラッグアンドドロップで各メーカーのプリンターやMFPを配置。その後、FM Auditツールなどで読み込んだカウンター情報をデータベース上でリンクさせることにより、簡単にプリンタアイコンを配置。
フロアレイアウト上で移動させ、その部署のプリントボリュームに合った、最適配置を提案できる画期的なツール。
視覚的にプリンターのMFPへの統合や、統合した場合の人の導線の問題点など、顧客に提示することが可能。プリンターの情報はデータベースに格納されているため、簡単にリアルタイムでのシミュレーションが可能になる。
今まで最適機器配置の提案にかけていた、何時間もの時間が一気に短縮できるどころか、顧客の目の前でプロジェクタ表示で瞬時にレポートを作成可能になると期待されている。

コニカミノルタビジネステクノロジーズ社はOPS "Optimized Print Service"事業を全世界展開することを発表。 OPSによる売り上げを３億ドルを見込む。
ガートナー予測では全世界のMPSの年間売上は60億ドルと見積もっている。
